Ah Sunday, my absolute favourite day of the week.
As mentioned previously I love nothing more then an early morning stroll along the beach. Or somewhere similar. Today we swapped comfy warm pyjamas for jeans, vests, hats and coats and headed down to West Kirby for a wander along the front. Conor has the luxury of Cyril the Sloth from school this weekend so we've had to make sure that he has a great time whilst he stays here. View post
We've all heard of cricket flour before right?
When I received the email regarding trying out some Crobar* energy bars I was sceptical. It's not something that I'd heard of before and to be quite frank it sounded a bit odd. Having said that, once I'd looked into it more I decided to give it a go. View post
We don't have a choice on whether we do social media, the question is how well we do it - Erik Qualman
I've found myself a little vacant from social media over the past month. This was never the intention it just seems to have happened. Although I am a little thankful that I have taken that break from the intense relationship we all share with the internet. View post
Wow, well hasn't this week been an interesting one?
This week seems to have dragged by so slowly that I have literally gone mad. It seems that my depression and anxiety has returned with a vengeance. I've visited the good old doc and they prescribed me some new tablets to try and alleviate the symptoms a little.View post
One of my 2016 goals was to be a little braver and embrace the new opportunities that comes with blogging.
So when the chance to become an ambassador for a new Cancer Research 10k I jumped at the opportunity. To be fair I haven't actually run 10K yet. I'm definitely a walking and hiking kind of girl so I really need to get my training shoes on don't I?
So guys, I'm excited to announce that on Saturday I along with my team completed our 25K walk for charity.
Yes. The pain was intense. I nearly cried several times and knew that if I stopped walking I wouldn't be able to continue. View post
Ah its finally here. My absolute favourite time of year.
The leaves start turning those beautiful golden/red tones and dropping to the floor ready for the cold weather to strike. Christmas starts popping up far too early and we start drooling over the chance to lay around in comfy clothes drinking crazy spiced hot chocolates/coffees and snuggling.View post
I've always wondered what it is I can write about that can make a difference to someones life.
I never set out to become one of those bloggers that inspire others. In fact, I'd be pretty surprised if I did that to anyone. I started blogging almost three years ago and a lot has changed since my journey began. All I'm saying is, that if I was to inspire someone, I'd like it to be for the right reasons.View post
Well it's been a little while hasn't it?
I thought I'd drop in another fitness update as it's been a while since I've updated everyone with my progress. So much has been happening over the past few months, life has gone massively crazy.
Firstly my gym attendance has been shocking, like seriously shocking. I've probably only stepped inside a couple of times and really have let things slide some what.
Next my husband has a second heart attack and is really quite poorly at the moment, we are ...
Today we spend so much time in the office that it can be hard to find the time to get moving. I spend a lot more time at work then I do outside of so I definitely live the office chair lifestyle. I'm quite lucky that I work on a lovely business park and have a large outdoor space to go for a walk, run, jog if I fancy. This isn't something available to everyone though.
Following recent studies that suggest office workers need to exercise ...
